Is Agility Training Right for Your Dog?
This course is designed for confident, high-energy, and athletic dogs that enjoy having a job to do and thrive with mental and physical challenges.
Basic obedience training is required prior to beginning agility training.
While many dogs can enjoy agility work, some breeds and personality types naturally excel in this type of training due to their athletic ability, focus, and drive.
Our agility program is NOT intended for competitive or sport-level agility. Instead, it is designed as an exciting enrichment activity that builds confidence, strengthens the dog-owner relationship, and creates a fun outlet for both dog and handler.
What to Expect
After each lesson, owners receive homework guidance along with videos and instructions to help continue practicing at home. Continued practice between sessions is encouraged to help dogs build consistency and confidence.

Week 1: Foundation & Confidence Building
• Following handler movement with left and right turns
• Practicing recall
• Introduction to small platforms
• Introduction to small jumps
Week 2: Tunnels & Beginner Jumps
• Focus and body awareness exercises
• One medium jump
• Introduction to tunnels
• Combining tunnel work with recall
• Combining jumps with tunnel work
Week 3: Weave Poles & Coordination
• Introduction to weave poles
• Entering poles correctly with slow movement
• Short obstacle sequences
• Jump + tunnel + weave pole combinations
Week 4: Sequencing & Focus
• Building confidence through obstacle combinations
• Improving focus and handler communication
• Developing smoother transitions between obstacles
Week 5: Putting It All Together
• Confidence-based agility sequencing
• Handler timing and communication
• Fun agility challenges and skill practice
• Celebrating progress and continued development
